I paint what I feel like painting at the time. I am an artist that is inspired by my life's journey and this painting is inspired by the love of the ocean. I also wanted to paint something a little more expressive as at the tine I was painting commission portraits and find them restrictive as people want perfection more than expression in portraits these days.
